She's My Mommy Too!
An Alaskan Tale of Sibling Rivalry
Let a child learn about sibling rivalry with the help of seven sled-dog puppies, which are jealous of each other whenever their mother spends time with only one of them. One after another, through personal experience, realizes that he or she has to share Mom with the others and that her love and attention is the same for each and every one of them.
But when she wants to play with her mother, there comes cries from her sisters and brother:
"Me, Me, Me, Me, Me, Me - not YOU",
to which Lilly replies,
"Don't be jealous, she's my Mommy TOO!"
But when she roams afar with her mother,
there come cries from her sisters and brother.
"Me, Me, Me, Me, Me, Me - not YOU",
to which Gail replies:
"Don't be jealous, she's my Mommy TOO!"
